This Cookie Policy has been prepared by Dextra Transaction Services S.L. in compliance with the provisions of Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), introduced by Royal Decree-Law 13/2012, of 30 March, as well as the Guide on the use of cookies approved by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) in its current version. Its purpose is to inform clearly and precisely about the cookies used on the website www.lexpartis.com, their types, purposes, and the mechanisms available to the User for managing them.
1. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files that a website installs on the User's browser or device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when visiting it. Cookies allow the site to store and retrieve information about the User's browsing habits or their device, and depending on the information they contain, they can be used to recognise the User on subsequent visits.
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 General Data Protection Regulation states in its Recital 30 that online identifiers —such as those provided by cookies— may be used to create profiles and identify natural persons, thus their use is subject to the general regime of personal data protection when such circumstances occur.
2. Types of cookies
Cookies can be classified according to different criteria:
According to the entity that manages them
- First-party cookies: those sent to the User's device from a device or domain managed by the publisher itself.
- Third-party cookies: those sent to the User's device from a device or domain not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.
According to the duration they remain active
- Session cookies: designed to collect and store data while the User accesses the website. They are deleted when the browser is closed.
- Persistent cookies: the data remains stored on the User's device and can be accessed for a period defined by the controller, which can range from minutes to years.
According to their purpose
- Technical or strictly necessary cookies: allow the User to navigate and use the essential functionalities of the site (authentication, session management, load balancing, consent control).
- Personalisation or preference cookies: allow remembering User options (language, region, typography).
- Analysis or measurement cookies: allow quantifying and analysing User behaviour to introduce improvements.
- Behavioural advertising cookies: allow managing advertising spaces by displaying ads based on browsing profiles.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
Dextra Transaction Services S.L. only uses strictly necessary cookies («technical») for the proper functioning of the Site and the Lex Partis application. In particular, the following:
- Authentication session cookie: allows maintaining the User's session while navigating the private area of the application. It is deleted when the session or browser is closed.
- CSRF protection cookie: contains a random token that protects forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF).
- Language selection cookie: stores the User's language preference (es, en, ca, eu, gl) to present content in the chosen language.
- Cookie for acceptance of the cookie information notice: records the User's action on the cookie banner to avoid displaying it on subsequent visits.
Dextra Transaction Services S.L. does NOT use analytical cookies, behavioural advertising, retargeting, geolocation, or any other type of cookie that requires the informed, express, and unequivocal consent of the User in accordance with Article 22.2 LSSI-CE.
4. Legal framework
The use of cookies on the Site is governed by the following regulations:
- Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE).
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on Personal Data Protection and the guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD).
- Directive 2002/58/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 12 July, on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector (‘e-Privacy Directive’).
- Guide on the use of cookies from the Spanish Agency for Data Protection (AEPD), current version.
The strictly necessary cookies used on the Site are exempt from the obligation to obtain prior consent from the User, in accordance with the second paragraph of Article 22.2 LSSI-CE, as they are cookies that have the sole purpose of enabling communication between the User's device and the network or providing a service expressly requested by the User.
5. Obtaining and revoking consent
Since the Site only employs technical cookies exempt from the consent requirement, the User is not asked to provide prior consent for the installation of cookies. Should Dextra Transaction Services S.L. decide in the future to incorporate cookies subject to the consent regime (analytical, advertising or similar), this Policy will be updated and informed, express, and unequivocal consent from the User will be requested through a mechanism in accordance with the current AEPD Guide, ensuring that: (i) the information provided is clear and complete; (ii) the acceptance action is affirmative, unequivocal, and specific; (iii) the option to refuse is as accessible as the option to accept; and (iv) consent can be revoked at any time with the same ease as it was granted.
6. How to manage cookies in your browser
